#MoveInDay 64

This was a day that none of us will ever forget. Volunteers came together braving 16° below zero wind chills for a day of good vibes, chaos, so much laughter and of course happy tears to create a home for an Army Veteran who was living with nothing. Thank you especially to the Berwyn Police Department and the Biker club Twisted Aces (don’t let their tough exteriors fool you, they are teddy bears in disguise), Mike LaRusso Mike Cozzi, and Robb Roman.

Berwyn Police Department Officer Eddie Tovar responded to a call and found a Vietnam Veteran wrapped in a blanket sleeping in his bathtub. Eddie started a campaign to help this local hero in need. With the help of social media, it is safe to say, this campaign was a HUGE success with the help of NUMEROUS people and organizations!

Jason Huth Movers and some of Berwyn Firefighters Local 506 firefighters along with Mike Laureto for AFFI Northern District Trustee helped get the food and furniture set up in Mr. Nicoletti's apartment.
