#MoveinDay #169

Design Leads: Mary Guinn and Ana Wilson

Team 169 had the pleasure of completing the last move-in for 2023 yesterday! They brought joy and a sense of stability back to a mom and her daughter. Our client was struggling to make ends meet even while working full time. Bridge Communities stepped in to help her secure an apartment, her first step towards independence. Our team helped her with the next step; furnishings and home goods that will give her some stability in her life. Thank you to Alliance League for assisting with kitchenware. We'd like to extend thanks to all the volunteers and supporters who stepped it up a notch to not only furnish the apartment, but also ready it for a Christmas celebration. They truly put their heart and soul into making this young mom's dream come true. Kudos to Design Leads Mary Glynn Guinn and Ana Wilson, volunteers Gary Bazzoni, Julie Trausch Saravia,Jan Langfeldt DiCola, Kathryn Weber, Lisa Weber, Todd Powell,Owen Powell, Bob Guinn, and Kathy Robbins. Behind the scenes volunteers Sherry Kulhanek, James Krivicich, Tom Davis, Michele Biarnson, Greg, and of course Janelle Towne. Heartfelt thanks to all who donated to this move with a special hug to Linda Farley and Rescue Relics for providing gifts for under the tree. Fabric for pillows provided by Calico Corners and HOLLY HUNT Design. Decor ribbon from Jan Williams. Home decor extras courtesy of Meredith Jaye. Gina Caruso Sineni the white stockings were perfect! And a warm fuzzy hug to the donor who provided the perfect pink fabric for the throw and pillow. It arrived at the perfect time. Finally, thanks to Mary and Ana for dadding to the gift pile and a few extra touches throughout the apartment. Can you guess what awaits a sweet young girl under that red/white striped package? Thank you Kathleen Tirakian for that surprise.
From our H2H family to yours...Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays to all!
