Everyone has needed a little help from others at some point in their lives. Some more than others due to circumstances that create obstacles to success. Kenneth Young Center provided the “help” our client needed to get a roof over her head and supports to ensure a brighter future. Our team of volunteers led by Karen and Nicole provided the home essentials and more needed to make her apartment ready to move in. Thanks to volunteers , Don Herweck, Sophie Harrison, Dee Bauer, and Ava Harrison for giving up a few hours of their time to make this young lady’s dreams come true. Thanks to them our client was able to just walk in and start living. Thanks also to Lynda Rivard for the handcrafted pillow and Linda Farley for the customized welcome basket complete with the clients’ favored sushi inspired items. These special touches are icing on the cake. Shout out to everyone who contributed to this move and to our mission in general.
