New Beginnings: From Recovery to Renewal

Move-in 176

H2H Move-in Team 176 brought smiles and hope for the future to three gentlemen as they work their way to recovery and independence. In cooperation with The 2nd Story Foundation and The Center's Pathways Program, we furnished a group home for these gents. The house will serve as a transitional home until they are ready to set out on their own. In future, the home will serve others as they venture on their journeys. Thank you to all of our volunteers led by the design team of Gina Sineni, Roxanne Lostroscio, Kathy Robbins, and Ana Wilson. Our volunteers, Treasuer and Driver Ev Teglia, Gary Bazzoni ,Nicole Herwick, Don Herwick, Julia Grosch, Mike Grosch, Julie Radtke, and Amy McDonnell did an amazing job turning a small space into a cozy welcoming home our gents could be proud of. Special thanks and virtual hugs to Linda Farley for the welcome baskets that added so much more to this move. Shout-out to Pathways Director Mark Walker and Skip for their assistance in getting the deck furniture to the home. We also need to thank them along with The Center Director Dave Sanders, T.J., and Duffy for helping us unload the truck on site. The 2nd Story Foundation members Bruce, Ken, and Jim O'Connor surprised the guys with a T.V. We're sure these gents will enjoy their first night in their new home. Good luck to all of them as they pursue their goals!
