MoveInDay #139!

Design team leads: Ana Wilson and Kathy Robbins (These ladies met with our clients to find out exactly what they needed but also what their color and style preferences were — they worked countless hours behind the scenes in an extremely hot warehouse to create the perfect home for this single mom and her children.)

Volunteer team: Roxanne Wendel Lostroscio Marilyn Cahill and Tom her husband (this was his first time and we loved having him with us!) Marilyn Skok Francine Montoro and boyfriend, Raul Portillo, Jay Wagner Jennifer Holly (brought her son Dickey and friends Jay Conkin and Danny Wrzesinski who were a HUGE HELP especially with all of the heavy furniture) Linda O'Shea-Lewis (first timer) and Maryann Murnin from @ZeldasKitchenWitches who provided everything we needed for the kitchen and it was all brand new!

A little about our client -

Client 139 is a young mom getting a new start in life after a traumatic event set her back. She values family ties and thus shares her home with her younger brother in addition to her adorable seven year old daughter. Being gainfully employed now and being able to enjoy a true furnished home will help this mom and family heal. As we revealed the move in results, she and her brother were left speechless and tears were shed. Our volunteers and community partners outdid themselves in updating this Chicago gem!
